Vena's Tonic Tincture

Ditch the low quality tonic water!  The standard-issue tonic available at most stores, bars and restaurants lack flavor and use ingredients like high fructose corn syrup, citric acid and sodium benzoate.  Our Tonic Tincture is a simple alcohol based extract of cinchona bark (for quinine) and gentian root (for bitters).  Vena's Tonic Tincture can be added to syrup (simple syrup, Agave, etc.), then used to make your cocktail.  This gives you total control over the strength of botanical flavor, bitters and sweetness by adjusting the ratio of Tonic Tincture, syrup, seltzer and spirit.  Vena's recommends 1 teaspoon of Tonic Tincture per 1oz. of syrup for a drink with 2oz of spirit and 3-4 oz. of seltzer.
